Sweet baby Evelyn is just precious, isn’t she? I was thrilled when this mommy reached out to me to photograph her sweet little family during this precious time in their lives. I’m always overjoyed and honored to photograph friends. Thank you for inviting me into your home to witness and capture the sweet love of your family.
Warm and glowing, and filled with joy. That’s how I would describe this gorgeous maternity portrait session in Dallas, TX. When this couple received their finalized photos, the husband described his expectant wife as “radiant”, and I completely agree! She absolutely looks so radiant and full of love for the sweet little one she’s currently carrying.
This couple’s love for each other is evident and shines through in their photographs. They have such a joyful spirit, and I can tell that their baby boy will be completely loved and cherished.
A warm and sunny summer Texas day made for these bright and cheerful outdoor family portraits! Then we stepped inside for a more calm and cool setting to photograph. It’s always a pleasure to witness a family full of joy and love for one another, and this particular portrait session was filled with the best of it!
The main purpose of these family portraits was to welcome the newest member of their family. This sweet baby boy was full of so many smiles. (There are some pretty hilarious photos of him with a stack full of “light reading”. Don’t be surprised if this little guy grows up to be a CEO one day!)
I’m always grateful when clients let me into their home to document their lives. This family welcomed me, and I had a wonderful time capturing these sweet memories for them.
When I arrived at this beautiful home to photograph a newborn session, I had no idea I would get to meet the most easy-going newborn ever. What a precious, good-natured boy! Baby Preston was a natural in front of the camera and didn’t seem to mind being photographed one little bit. I hope this tiny one stays super calm and oh-so-sweet for his wonderful parents always :)
P.S. I just love the verse written above baby Preston’s crib:

Baby Aubrey turned 6-months-old, and her family celebrated with a portrait session to document this special time in her life! Full of pink Crepe Myrtle blossoms, this location in McKinney, TX provided the perfect backdrop to highlight this sweet baby’s smile. And her adorable outfit was the perfect complement to her surroundings.
Early morning sunrise sessions are a favorite way to capture special memories of loved ones during the hottest months of Texas summertime! And to provide even more relief from the heat, this particular morning was completely overcast. Did you know that overcast days don’t have to mean dark and gloomy photos? (Of course it helps when you’re photographing a baby whose smile radiates light better than the sunniest Texas day :)
Aubrey is a sweetheart with such an easy-going personality. She seems perfectly content just spending time with Mom and Dad. It’s always a joy to photograph families who love each other so openly. Being photographed can often feel like an awkward experience, but if you just focus on smiling and enjoying being with your loved ones you are sure to get photographs that you will cherish for years to come – photographs that radiate genuine smiles and highlight the connection you all share.
